Cellulite Busting Exercises: 3 Exercises That Eliminate Cellulite
In the quest to get rid of cellulite you have to have some great exercises.
In this post I want to give you three cellulite busting exercises.
These exercises are split into 3 different categories.
One is to burn a lot of overall calories, two is to develop lean muscle mass (the key ingredient for raising metabolism, burning more calories at rest, and smoothing the appearance of cellulite), and three is to combine number one and two above.
Cellulite Busting Exercises:
1. Rowing machine intervals. Rowing machines for the longest time have been a staple workout for so many people. It works the entire body, but doesn’t put the strain on the body that some other exercises might. A rowing machine workout works every major large muscle group which is critical to burning a lot of calories fast.
Bigger is Better: When you work the large muscles you burn more calories because it takes more calories to move your large muscles. Question: “Do you think that it takes more energy (calories) to pick up a pencil or to pick up a gallon of milk?”
See, the only difference there is that you have to recruit more muscle in order to lift that gallon of milk, and when you do that you use more energy (calories) the more calories you burn the more fat you burn and the more excess fat you burn, the more cellulite you get rid of.
2. One leg step ups. This is simply stepping up onto a box, or stair, or block or what ever you got with one leg then stepping down and then doing it again and again. You can mix this up, you can step with the same leg continuously then switch legs every 10 repetitions, or you can alternate the whole way.
You can do this cellulite busting exercise with weights (like a barbell on your shoulders, or holding dumbbells). This is a great workout for building lean muscle in the legs, especially the butt (cellulite haven), hamstrings (for that cellulite behind the legs), for thigh cellulite and to strengthen your calves and torso.
I can’t stress this enough, the more lean muscle that you have the more calories that you will burn at rest. The more calories you will burn when working out… And having lean muscle in an area smooths out the appearance of excess fat (cellulite).
Our goal with cellulite is to reduce then eliminate. Small goals lead to big successes.
3. Calisthenic Circuits. You won’t find this term really used any where because this is a workout term that I have invented myself. This workout blends calisthenics with various circuits. For instance you may run one lap around a track at 65%, then do push ups for 10 secs, then do squats for 15 seconds, then do sit ups for 20 seconds, then do another lap around the track and go through that same circuit again and again.
Then set a total workout time and just keep doing this circuit until time runs out… maybe like 20-30 minutes. This workout builds up your cardio, increasing lean muscle mass, and it burns a heck of a lot of calories.
